Black History Month Showcase at Southeast Raleigh High School

Southeast Raleigh High School celebrated Black History Month with a series of events. One of the highlights was the “Black History Month Showcase” held on February 23rd. This event was part of a broader program called “Dare to Dream: African Americans and the Arts,” hosted by the WCPSS Office of Equity Affairs.

The showcase was an opportunity for students to express their creativity, share their understanding of Black history, and engage with the broader community. It was a vibrant display of the school’s commitment to celebrating diversity and fostering an inclusive environment. The event also served as a platform for students to explore and honor the contributions of African Americans to the arts.
